Presto!
We recently had another harvest! This time it was the aquaponic basil. Very proud, we turned it all into the most delicious pesto. Add some chicken, pasta, and wine, and we have a nice date night in.

IMAGINE: Students for local and global action
This week, Luke demonstrated for students at the IMAGINE conference hosted by the Orchard School. Teams of students came from all over the state to engage in finding solutions for today's water challenges.

Classroom Aquaponics
Luke recently visited a The Orchard School to teach about aquaponics, and set up a classroom aquaponics system. Mr. Mylan's third grade class asked great questions!

Today we went out into the neighborhood to show off a rain barrel tower, and sign up neighbors for the compost program. Great experience!

Beehive
We now have the power of the hive.
Along with producing honey, bees are excellent polinators. On a beautiful day like today, you can observe hundreds of bees, busily flying in and out.

Compost Harvest!
We harvested compost earlier this year, and distributed it to all of the neighborhood compost program members. It was a great experience to see this fine, loamy compost come out of the Good to Grow heap!
